In this chapter we present unique poetry by poet Ewa Parma, who was born in Katowice, Upper Silesia (in 1961). Ewa Parma is the author of  9 collections of poetry. Her poems have appeared in English translation in the Los Angeles Review, World Literature Today, Mr. Cogito, Artful Dodge, International Poetry Review, and Connecticut River Review. She has also published poems, essays, and translations of American poetry in numerous Polish journals and read her poetry on the radio.

She can write in Polish, English and Silesian. What concerns the last language, Ewa joined another Upper Silesian art creator – watercolorist Grzegorz Chudy in a project “Pictures from the Upper Silesia” which shows their big love to their homeland – Upper Silesia.

Poems are presented here in English as they have not been translated into Dutch yet. But are definitely worth it!
