Dunajec River Gorge

Pieniny – a mountain range in southern Poland – is one of the most attractive tourist regions in that country. The great advantage of these mountains is not only a stunning view, but also not very demanding hiking trails.

And those who would not want to hike, can sail on a boat on Dunajec River, which winds its way between the mountains in the so called The Dunajec River Gorge. The trail is 15 km long and it is the only such attraction in Europe. During rides on rafts (April – October), led by the rafters, tourists can have a look at the picturesque peak called the Three Crowns.
